*舊文增修* Itzhak Perlman 是古典樂界的小提琴家，現在仍一直有活躍在樂壇，早些年前，他的演奏相當華麗，演奏間也用了相當多的滑音，聽起來也相當特別，當初小弟也因為他，踏入爵士樂沒多久，就先買了他和 Oscar Peterson 等人一起出版的 Side by Side  ( Telarc CD-83341)：
當初對爵士樂尚在開始接觸階段，對 Oscar Peterson 還沒太多感覺，也不是相當清楚，當初加上雜誌推薦這張，及 TELARC 號稱高超的錄音技術，參與樂手還有 Ray Brown、Herb Ellis 及 Grady Tate 老搭檔，當時對爵士樂有小提琴及長笛樂器的專輯，不太能接受 (現在也還一樣)，不過這張因為樂手太有名了，所以聽起來卻不太一樣。

Itzhak Perlman 早於 1980 年與鋼琴家兼指揮家的 Andre Previn 就有出版過爵士樂專輯 A Different Kind Of Blues：


兩人再接再厲於 1981 年推出 It's A Breeze  ( TOCE-13335 )

It's A Breeze 這張幾年前日本版 EMI Classics 1300 Series 重刻過這張，這張樂手還有 Shelly Manne、Jim Hall、Red Mitchell 等人；這張跟樓上這張的共 16 首曲子都是 Andre Previn 自己寫的，不過加了多一點的古典樂成份，爵士樂的即興成份就少了點。另外 Perlman 和 Previn 也推過一張 Joplin 的專輯 The Easy Winners  ( TOCE-13334 )

多年前日本版 EMI Classics 1300 Series 重刻過這張，不過上面這三張法國版的 EMI 發行過雙CD，即 3LPs in 2 CDs
The Easy Winners：CD1. 1~10
A Different Kind Of Blues：CD1. 11~14 and CD2. 1~4
It's A Breeze：CD2. 5~12
The Jazz Album

A Different Kind Of Blues 及 It's A Breeze 這兩張專輯，在 1993 年時左右，國內科藝百代以 Angel 為名，發行過單 CD 版本，編號分別是 Angel CDM 764318-2、Angel CDM 764319-2，A Different Kind Of Blues 這個封面的爽度比法國版雙 CD 封面好上 N 倍。

另外還有去年9月所發行的這包裝相當簡陋的重刻雙CD (跟樓上好幾層封面有底類似)：

這套是去年9月 Warner Classics 所發行 Perlman 大全集的其中兩張：

封面當初台灣代理商有拆開大全套內容，單張單張賣，不過價格將近是大全套單張價格的兩倍，不過我是不想買大全套，只得忍痛買這張雙CD的，其中包含 A Different Kind Of Blues 及 It's A Breeze 這兩張專輯。
