Eric Alexander 算是日本 Venus 固定班底之一，出版的片子不少，有以其個人領名發行的專輯，或者是以 One For All 這個團體發行的，One For All 團體出版的東東總是不合我的口味，太 Hard Bop，少了點 Swing，不管是不是在 Venus 發行的，都讓我有這樣的感覺，不太好入耳。
Eric Alexander 在美國 Highnote 也發行過不少唱片，在 Venus 甜味四溢的片子中，Eric Alexander音色雖然略硬點，但甜度仍是相當足夠的，這個 Gentle Ballads 系列，轉眼間已發行過5張了！
2011年最新發行，Gentle Ballads V：
這個系列第 I~IV 的組合都是：
Eric Alexander、Mike LeDonne (p)、John Webber (b) 及 Joe Farnsworth (ds)不過最新的這張V，卻換成：
Eric Alexander、George Cables (p)、Nat Reeves (b) 及 Joe Farnsworth (ds)
更換了 bass 手及鋼琴手，第V集的鋼琴手是 George Cables 就更加令人期待。
