Kenny Dorham and Joe Henderson recorded six albums for Blue Note between April 1963 and September 1964. This CD presents a previously unknown broadcast that predates the pair's Blue Note collaborations. In January 1963, the Dorham-Henderson quintet appeared at The Flamboyan. Located in Queens and named after the casino in Puerto Rico, the club was only open for about a year, but the music lives on

Look, Stop And Listen
Philly Joe Jones led a ghost band dedicated to the music of Tadd Dameron. This CD is a presentation of the Grammy-nominated album featuring Johnny Griffin. At the recording session, Griff was prominently positioned in front of the band wearing a white hospital scrub shirt. He asked the band to wave him on if they wanted him to play on more than the agreed upon two selections, and the whole band waved him on. This CD also includes three additional alternate takes, and was digitally remastered by Rudy Van Gelder. Besides Philly Joe, the band features Don Sickler, Benny Powell, Frank Wess, Charles Davis, Cecil Payne, Larry Ridley and Walter Davis Jr..
這張有 Rudy Van Gelder 重刻，應該比較能期待。
